Sam Hamilton
Director of Prefabrication & VDC Encore Electric
Throughout her 20+ years in the industry, Samantha “Sam” Hamilton has continually looked for ways to improve any job she took on. As director of prefabrication and virtual design construction (VDC) at Encore Electric, she leads two teams of more than 90 Colorado-based craftspeople in the prefabrication shop as well as VDC Coordinators who specialize in transforming computer-generated models into quality-built electrical components for customers and prefabrication purposes.
Known for her zeal to solve problems through design and new technology, Hamilton constantly seeks ways to create systems and products that are both functional and innovative. She mastered the demands of the business early in her career at Encore Electric, serving first as VDC coordinator, and soon after as the department’s director, a role that expanded to include the prefabrication department. She employs the drive of a true leader, using an innate passion for constant improvement to train and inspire high-performing teams and support them in delivering exceptional workmanship.
