Mark Hanson is the BIM Manager at ArchKey Solutions, where he leads the company’s efforts to strengthen and standardize BIM‑driven prefabrication practices across all four of its regional offices. His work ensures that teams nationwide produce consistent, coordinated prefab designs that support ArchKey’s unified project delivery approach.
Mark is responsible for training teams to create prefab shop drawings that accurately reflect how assemblies will come off the shop floor – not just how they will be installed in the field – bridging the gap between virtual design and physical production. He also works to enhance BIM processes for more precise estimating and bill‑of‑materials generation, including optimizing conduit lengths and other preconstruction details that drive efficiency.
A key part of Mark’s approach is integrating field electricians directly into the VDC department, ensuring the models produced are fully constructible and grounded in real‑world expertise. His leadership continues to elevate BIM as a core driver of quality, coordination, and prefabrication excellence at ArchKey Solutions.
