Greg Charlesworth

Prefabrication Manager The Weitz Company, LLC

I’m passionate about not just what we build, but how we build, and how we can build better. My focus is on modernizing construction by leveraging both existing technologies—some of which are decades old and still incredibly valuable—and adapting emerging technologies to enhance our projects both in the field and in the office. I work with data, AI, automation, fabrication, electronics design, CAD, and programming—fields that traditionally haven’t played a large role in construction but are key to making the industry more productive and efficient.

Team Spotlight: EPI Power’s Journey from Prefab Beginners to Scaling an Integrated, End‑to‑End Program
8:30 am
  • Reflecting on core lessons taken from the 2024 Advancing Electrical Prefabrication Summit that shaped their roadmap and enabled the team to begin building their prefab program from the ground up
  • Addressing VDC/BIM knowledge gaps, reworking models for prefab, and restructuring workflows to meet manufacturing requirements
  • Discussing the field learning curve as installers encountered prefab for the first time, and how improved training, communication, and alignment enabled consistent installation outcomes
  • Connecting the dots across design, fabrication, and field operations to build an integrated workflow that led to their first successful prefab deployment in April–May 2025 and paved the way for rapid scale-up toward a 150,000 sq. ft. facility
