Emad Rofaiel

Senior Manager of Engineering & VDC EPI Power

Experienced Engineering / VDC with 20+ years in electrical engineering, VDC, and prefabrication integration, specializing in data centers and mission-critical projects. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and my expertise spans power distribution, lighting design, and NEC-compliant electrical systems.

I am passionate about leveraging VDC/BIM and prefabrication strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce field labor, and improve constructability. My role bridges the gap between design, prefabrication, and field execution, ensuring seamless coordination between engineering and construction teams.

I am committed to advancing electrical construction through innovation, digitalization, and prefabrication integration. Always open to discussions on VDC, prefab strategies, and emerging construction technologies that drive efficiency in the industry.

Fireside Chat: Our Journey from Prefab Beginners to Scaling an Integrated, End‑to‑End Program
9:30 am
  • Reflecting on core lessons taken from the 2024 Advancing Electrical Prefabrication Summit that shaped their roadmap and enabled the team to begin building their prefab program from the ground up
  • Addressing VDC/BIM knowledge gaps, reworking models for prefab, and restructuring workflows to meet manufacturing requirements
  • Discussing the field learning curve as installers encountered prefab for the first time, and how improved training, communication, and alignment enabled consistent installation outcomes
  • Connecting the dots across design, fabrication, and field operations to build an integrated workflow that led to their first successful prefab deployment in April–May 2025 and paved the way for rapid scale-up toward a 150,000 sq. ft. facility
